Infants Android 1.3

This version contains important updates, and we strongly recommend updating to the latest version of the Android Infant App as soon as possible.

Who should read this?

This release note applies to all PainChek users who are currently using PainChek Infant Android App

What's happening?

The PainChek Infants Android App version 1.3 will be released on Friday 8th of March 2024 with a limited release via APK distribution.

What's changed?

Bug Fixes and Performance Improvement

  • Resolved issue where the Android app failed to scroll up to display newly created assessments.

  • Addressed the behavior where if Single Sign-On (SSO) is enabled and a user unsuccessfully attempts to sign in via Quick Sign In (QSI) three times, they are directed to the non-SSO sign-in screen upon selecting Yes.

  • Fixed an issue where the App logs were not being cleared, causing the App to take up more space than needed.

New Features and Enhancements

  • Users can now reset the PainChek App by going to Support > About PainChek > expanding the Device section and tapping Reset Painchek.

  • Added support for Adaptive Mode for Infants.

  • The multi-domain assessment type is now available on Infants Android

Backend and Maintenance Updates

  • The device name is now provided to the sync request payload.

What do I have to do?

If your device is set to receive updates automatically, there is no need to do anything. PainChek should be updated automatically.

You can check the version of the application from the PainChek dashboard by selecting the "Support" option and then selecting "About PainChek".

Otherwise, access the Google Play Store, search for PainChek and select "Update" if available.
