PainChek Android Release Note - Update 4.28

Who should read this?

This release note applies to all PainChek users who are currently using the PainChek Android App.

What's happening?

The PainChek Android App release version 4.28 will be updated on Wednesday 16th of August 2023.

What's changed?

Bug Fixes and Performance Improvement

  • Fixed an issue where updating the Resident admission wouldn’t save.

  • Fixed an issue where migrating from Regular User to SSO user would prompt the user to set up a new PIN instead of prompting them to use the PIN stored in the PainChek database.

  • Fixed an issue causing the PainChek App to crash due to daylight savings.

 New Features and Enhancements

  • Minor updates to the layout of the Assessment Lead-In form.                            

  • Implemented the ability to send notifications to the App.

  • Optimisation improvements added to the dashboard.

  • Added support for optionally displaying Residents external IDs in the PainChek App.

 Backend and Maintenance Updates

  • Improved device security.

What do I have to do?

If your device is set to receive updates automatically, there is no need to do anything. PainChek should be updated automatically.

You can check the version of the application from the PainChek dashboard by selecting the "Support" option and then selecting "About PainChek":
