PainChek iOS Release Note - Update 2.27

Who should read this?

This release note applies to all PainChek users who are currently using PainChek for iPhone or iPad app

What's happening?

The PainChek iOS application release version 2.27 will be available for download from the Apple App Store on Thursday 27th of April 2023.

What's changed?

Bug Fixes and Performance Improvement

  • Updated the assessment form label.

  • The App now removes spaces before and after the First Name and Surname form for Resident creation to better detect duplicates.

  • Improved the keyboard behaviour so it’s more consistent.

New Features and Enhancements

  • Added new face domain animations in the tool tips.

  • Enhanced database encryption and security.

  • Supports a broader range of Gender identifies.

  • Added support for multiple languages.

  • When an inactive “Next” button is pressed, the user is guided on what’s required in order to make the button active.

Backend and Maintenance Updates

  • Upgraded the jailbreak detection library.

  • Improved the receiving and sending of assessment data to the PainChek database.

What do I have to do?

If your device is set to receive updates automatically, there is no need to do anything. PainChek should be updated automatically.

You can check the version of the application from the PainChek dashboard by selecting the "Support" option and then selecting "About PainChek":

Otherwise, access the Apple App store, search for PainChek and select "Update" if available.
