Who should read this?

This release note applies to all PainChek users who are currently using the PainChek Infant Android App.

What's happening?

The PCK infants Android App release version 1.2 is in limited release via direct APK distribution on [Wednesday 27th September 2023]

What's changed?

Bug Fixes and Performance Improvement

  • Fixed an issue that was causing the App to crash when upgrading from 1.1.

  • Fixed an issue where the App would crash if all mandatory fields weren’t filled out during Infant creation.

  • Fixed an issue where scrolling through Recent Assessments was not working correctly.

  • Fixed an issue where the Quick Sign In token would sometimes be incorrectly invalidated.

  • Fixed an issue where the Infant profile picture would be removed when changing location from a Facility to Other.

  • Fixed an issue when adding a new Pain Relief. The App would take you to the Assessments list instead of Pain Relief list.

New Features and Enhancements

  • Added Android 13 Support.

  • Updated the title shown when editing an Infant to “Edit Infant” instead of “Infant”.

  • Added spacing between the Profile Photo and the top of the screen when viewing an Infant.

  • Added support for Barcode scanning.

What do I have to do?

If your device is set to receive updates automatically, there is no need to do anything. PainChek should be updated automatically.

You can check the version of the application from the PainChek dashboard by selecting the "Support" option and then selecting "About PainChek":
