PainChek Back-End 2.38 & Front-End 3.10 Release Notes - Thursday 10th of June 2021

Who should read this?

This release note applies to all PainChek users who are currently using the PainChek Portal.

What's happening?

The PainChek Portal release version Back-End 2.38 & Front-End 3.10 will be updated on Thursday 10th of June 2021.

What's changed?

Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements

  • Fixed an issue where an integration would fail it tried to add a profile picture.

  • Improved the handling of Resident Sharing expiry.

  • Fixed an issue where some users couldn’t see the “About PainChek and Dementia” FAQ in the App.

  • Fixed an issue where a Resident that was granted access to a single facility would sometimes be able to view all Residents.

  • Fixed an issue where Inactive users were being told their credentials were invalid instead of that their account was Inactive.

  • Fixed an issue that was sending invalid Password reset email links to users.

  • Fixed an issue where editing an email User when the license has a TenantID would cause the @domain part of the username to be removed.

New Features and Enhancements

  • Updated the images used in the Activation Confirmation page to be higher resolution.

  • Added a filter to remove Training Resident assessments from the Assessments screen.

  • Lowered the resolution of Profile pictures used on the App as the high resolution images were causing the App to crash.

Backend and Maintenance Updates

  • Tightened general endpoint security in the Admission API endpoint.

  • Improved the sign in logic for non-email users.

What do I have to do?

For the PainChek Portal to update there's no action required. The update will occur on the server so when you log in after the update is applied, you will already be using the latest version of the PainChek Portal. 

There will be a slight performance degradation on Thursday 10th of June 2021 between 9:30pm and 10pm AEDT for a maximum of 10 minutes while the update is applied.

In the unlikely event that the PainChek Portal gives an error after the upgrade, please clear the cache from your web browser. Please speak with your internal IT team if your web browser needs the cache cleared.
