PainChek Back-End 2.77 & Front-End 3.46 Release Notes Update - Tuesday 6th of December 2025

Who should read this?

This release note applies to all PainChek users who are currently using PainChek Portal website. 

What's happening?

The PainChek Portal version PainChek Frontend 3.46 and Backend 2.77 will be released on Tuesday 16th of December 2025.

What's changed?

Bug Fixes & Performance Improvements

  • Fixed an issue that allowed users without full site access to create a user with full site access.

  • Fixed an issue where a license holder’s email address couldn’t be used to register for PainChek use.

  • Fixed an issue where the Ward filtering wasn’t working on the Overdue Assessments screen.

  • We made some performance improvements to the Overdue Assessments screen.

New Features & Enhancements

  • Added the ability to Close Assessment Follow-Ups in the Outstanding Assessment section. Note: This feature is initially only available to users that have Resident edit access and Full Site Access. For more information, please visit this page.

  • Added backend support for universal links to the PainChek Apps.

Security & Maintenance Updates

  • Fixed a high vulnerability with the urllib3 tool that is used.

What do I have to do?

There's no action required. The update will occur on the server so when you log in after the update is applied, you will already be using the latest version.

In the unlikely event that the PainChek Portal gives an error after the upgrade, please clear the cache from your web browser. Please speak with your internal IT team if your web browser needs the cache cleared.
