PainChek Back-End 2.84 & Front-End 3.53 Release Notes Update - Tuesday 28th of July 2026

Who should read this?

This release note applies to all PainChek users who are currently using PainChek Portal website.

What's happening?

The PainChek Portal version 3.53 and PainChek Backend version 2.84 will be released on Tuesday 28th of July 2026.

What's changed?

Bug Fixes & Performance Improvements

  • Fixed an issue where dates of birth displayed incorrectly for users in certain time zones (e.g. North America). The stored data was always correct — only the on-screen display was affected. This is now consistent across all views: resident list, resident detail, merge dialog, assessment list, and assessment print view.

  • Fixed an issue where SSO login with a mixed-case email address could create a duplicate user account instead of matching the existing one. Emails are now matched case-insensitively and stored in lowercase.

New Features & Enhancements

  • Integration delivery mode: Integration instances now support a webhook delivery mode in addition to the existing polling mode, enabling near-real-time

Security & Maintenance Updates

  • Updated Django and other dependencies to address known security vulnerabilities across all services.

  • Upgraded base container images to a current supported release with long-term OpenSSL support.

  • Enabled immutable container image tags to prevent overwriting of published releases.

What do I have to do?
