PainChek Back-End 2.87 & Front-End 3.56 Release Notes Update - Monday 26th of October 2026

Who should read this?

This release note applies to all PainChek users who are currently using PainChek Portal website.

What's happening?

The PainChek Portal version 3.56 and PainChek Backend version 2.87 will be released on Monday 26th of October 2026.

What's changed?

New Features & Enhancements

  • Individual HealthChek metrics (e.g. Follow-Up, Volume) can now be excluded from HealthChek scoring at the licence level. Customers can ask their account manager to exclude specific metrics.

  • Excluded metrics are left out of HealthChek calculations in management reports, at both organisation and site level.

  • Users with access to overdue assessments but without assessment closure access can now view the closed assessments list. Closing assessments still requires closure access.

Security & Maintenance Updates

  • Updated dependencies across the platform to address security vulnerabilities.

Bug Fixes & Performance Improvements

  • SSO users who incorrectly showed as “Pending Activation” in the portal will show as Active the next time they log in via SSO. Admins don’t need to take any action.

There's no action required. The update will occur on the server so when you log in after the update is applied, you will already be using the latest version.

In the unlikely event that the PainChek Portal gives an error after the upgrade, please clear the cache from your web browser. Please speak with your internal IT team if your web browser needs the cache cleared.
